Running Start

Our first year having our own farm has been building up to this one moment.  The start of market season.  This Summer we are excited to be doing quite a few markets.  They are:

Asbury Fresh- Sundays 11-4 Asbury Park, NJ

Princeton Forrestal Village MArket- Fridays 11-2 Princeton, NJ

New Brunswick Community Farmers Market- Wednesdays 11-3, Saturdays 10-3 New Brunswick, NJ

Frenchtown Farmer’s Market- Sundays 10-2 Frenchtown, NJ

Point Pleasant Beach Farmer’s Market- Sundays 10-2 Point Pleasant,NJ (Every other Sunday)

When we began the farm we were worried we wouldn’t find a single market, and now we find ourselves with markets abound!  The past few months have been filled with long days and sleepless nights wanting every crop to be perfect, wanting everything to go as planned.  We’ve weeded and watered and counted the days till we thought a crop would be ready to harvest over and over again.  We’ve battled groundhogs, come across baby deer sleeping, foxes sunbathing in the driveway, a snapping turtle in our summer squash, beautiful snakes in the greenhouse and fields, and relished in the singing of a multitude of birds (sometimes we sing back).  Everywhere we look these days flowers are blooming and leaves are stretching towards the sky.  To feel the sun on our back and the wind in our hair, to be outside every day, to be one with the soil and land, has been exactly what we needed to heal our souls and shake off Winter’s cold.

We are very excited to deliver our bounty to the beautiful state of New Jersey this Spring, Summer and Fall.
