Winter At The Farm

This first Winter has been a very exciting and hectic time for us.

First we took apart and are reassembling a walk-in cooler to keep the vegetables super fresh.

Then we starting working on our beautiful greenhouse, or as we fondly call it our ‘redhouse’

Trenches got dug, stakes pounded in, hoops put up.  Lots of lovely snow fell, and then the mud aka quicksand came.

And finally our seeds are getting started!

Yesterday we were putting the finishing touches on the greenhouse in tank tops and t-shirts.  Spring is a-coming!

A HUGE thank you to Steve of Great Road Farm for the use of his greenhouse while ours was still in the works!  A HUGE thank you to Will Hamill and Jane Hamill for the hours, time and dedication they put towards our greenhouse/this project, and for the many delicious rojo coffees!
